Donation Refund Policy

Miracles, Signs, and Wonders Global Ministry (“MSW Global” or “the Ministry”) is a nonprofit religious and charitable organization supported in part through voluntary charitable contributions.

Because charitable donations are generally given voluntarily and may be used to support the Ministry’s charitable and religious purposes, donations are ordinarily considered final once received and processed.

1. General Policy

Charitable donations made to Miracles, Signs, and Wonders Global Ministry are generally nonrefundable.

The Ministry recognizes, however, that errors and exceptional circumstances may occur. Therefore, a donor may submit a request for a refund, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

2. Circumstances That May Be Considered

A refund may be considered when circumstances include, but are not limited to:

Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be issued.

3. Refund Requests

Donors should contact the Ministry as soon as reasonably possible after discovering an error or other issue with a donation.

A refund request should include sufficient information for the Ministry to identify and review the transaction, such as the donor’s name, date of donation, donation amount, transaction information, and an explanation of the reason for the request.

The Ministry may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the donation and evaluate the request.

4. Review and Approval

Refund requests will be reviewed by an authorized officer or representative of the Ministry.

The Ministry reserves the right to approve or deny a refund request based on the circumstances of the transaction, applicable law, payment processor requirements, whether the funds have already been committed or expended, and other relevant considerations.

The Ministry will seek to handle refund requests fairly, consistently, and in good faith.

5. Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, the Ministry will generally attempt to return the funds through the original payment method when reasonably possible.

Processing times may vary depending on the bank, credit card company, payment processor, or other financial institution involved.

Any donation acknowledgment or charitable contribution receipt previously issued for a refunded contribution may be canceled, corrected, or otherwise adjusted in the Ministry’s records as appropriate. The donor is responsible for ensuring that a refunded contribution is not claimed as a charitable contribution for tax purposes.

6. Donor-Designated Contributions

When a donor expresses a preference or designation regarding the use of a contribution, the Ministry will seek to honor accepted restrictions consistent with applicable law and the Ministry’s charitable purposes.

If a contribution is subject to a restriction formally accepted by the Ministry and the Ministry determines that the restricted purpose cannot be fulfilled, the Ministry will address the contribution in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the gift.

7. Chargebacks and Disputed Transactions

Donors are encouraged to contact the Ministry directly regarding suspected errors or concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so that the Ministry has an opportunity to investigate and address the matter.

The Ministry may provide relevant transaction records, donation acknowledgments, communications, and other appropriate documentation to a payment processor or financial institution when responding to a chargeback or disputed transaction.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available to a donor under applicable law or applicable payment-network rules.

8. Event Fees and Other Payments

This Donation Refund Policy applies specifically to charitable donations.

Payments for event registrations, retreats, conferences, merchandise, program fees, or other transactions may be governed by separate cancellation or refund terms communicated at the time of registration or purchase.

9. Policy Administration

The Board of Directors authorizes the Ministry’s officers to administer this policy, review individual refund requests, maintain appropriate documentation, and make reasonable administrative decisions consistent with this policy and applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

Miracles, Signs, and Wonders Global Ministry reserves the right to modify this policy as necessary. Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
